The name
Sureste — the southeast
Surestia comes from sureste, Spanish for southeast: the sun-drenched corner of Spain we work from. Over 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, a long tradition of making dry land productive, and now — fibre to the world. We like the metaphor: careful engineering that makes things grow.
